all my icons, part II

And on we go...

The Phantom. No, not that one. The Other one.

By cleolinda of m15m fame. It just tickled my funny bone. I regret that, like many of my icons, I never really know when to use them, but wish I could use them all the time.

Little Elephant
I'm not sure what I like best about this icon: that it's a little elephant? that it's a little elephant with wings? that it's a little elephant with wings, blowing bubbles? or the way it's drawn?

The artwork is that of Michael Bartalos, with the icon made by feathered at obsessiveicons.

Mouse vs. Mouse
This icon was one of a set on the theme of comparisons by enriana at obsessiveicons. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a big fan of obsessiveicons. While I don't participate in their competitions to design icons, I definitely take advantage of and thoroughly enjoy the icons they and other users produce.

Sexpot

"Wordplay" always sounded to me like the play-time activities of words: words on swing-sets, words playing jump-rope, words playing Number Crunchers, words with building blocks. Like child's play.

This is from a series of similar icons (see "Confused", which is included elsewhere in these entries) by enriana at obsessiveicons.

There is Nothing that Cannot Happen...

Should I take this to mean something, that I have so many "oh you can't be serious" or "I can't believe he/she/they did that" icons?

Made by enriana.

Fiction Has to Make Sense
It's true, actually. Think about it and you'll probably agree: things happen in real life that, if they were to take place in books, would be fictionally unbelievable or too contrived. The story of when Grover proposed? Would make a good story, but it just seems unbelievable. The saga of the engagement rings? Same, but more so.

If This Isn't Literature...
This continues on the theme.

Heck and Gosh

Growing up, mine was one of those families where you're not supposed to say "hell." It was a swearword like any other. Now that we're all adults, the rules are laxer. But maybe those beginnings are why I find this text icon so amusing.

Logic
I want to get this made into a t-shirt and wear it every day.

It was created by tamnonlinear and showed up in her blog one day, with a note that anyone could (and should) use it. I eagerly complied.

Principles
There are some people who don't appreciate my sense of humor. I understand. It happens. But lest anyone start taking me too seriously (particularly when I'm ranting about something, as sometimes happens), here's a little reminder.

Thank you, Groucho Marx and lady_talon.
